Everton and Newcastle have named their starting teams for their meeting at Murrayfield Stadium in a friendly on Wednesday.

The Toffees were beaten 3-1 away at Stuttgart on Saturday, while Newcastle beat Valencia 2-1 at Mestalla Stadium.

The game was the Magpies' first since former Al-Ahli boss Matthias Jaissle replaced Eddie Howe as head coach last week.

Everton start their Premier League season at home to Crystal Palace on August 22 (15:00 BST). Newcastle are at home to Liverpool a day later (16:30).
